Please join us in helping to keep our community beautiful! We will be having a clean up day on Saturday, November 12, 2011, from 9:00 to 12:00. We will be walking the common areas and picking up trash. Please meet at the playground in the center of the community (between Tar Heel and Western Dreamer) at 9:00. Trash bags and other supplies will be provided. Please sign up in the area below this announcement. Thank you.

Based on resident feedback, the board members discussed the possibility of a neighborhood clean-up day. We are seeking the following to make this a successful activity:
1) a resident to serve as the coordinator for the project and help the board with the planning details
2) resident participation to help form the teams for the various areas of the LCHA common areas
To show our appreciation for the volunteers, the board is considering a cookout/picnic after the clean-up. Additionally, refreshments will be provided through the clean-up time.
