The pond is not just a pond. It serves as an overflow for the Delaware Run and plays an important role in water run-off management for the city. Secondly, if you would like to see some countermeasure to your concerns, I would recommend three self-initiated actions:
1. Use your real name, as other members in the community do.
2. Structure your feedback in a professional and constructive manner (referencing some of the previous posts).
3. Attend the monthly meetings, where action items are discussed and planned for countermeasure.

Thank you for your cooperation.

Before the city gets to that level of investment, they will likely want to post the speed limit with speed radar feedback. That unit was recently spotted in the main entry drive for Carson Farms and it seemed to work well. I would recommend calling the public safety/Delaware Police department and mention it to them and see if they'll move the speed radar sign to Locust Curve Drive.

Thank you for the feedback.

First, I would like to thank you guys for all you do for the community. I know that
you probably don't hear that often enough.

Secondly, I'm wondering what can be done about people speeding on Locust Curve Dr.
I've noticed a lot more speeding (by teens AND parents) on this road.
There are more small children crossing the streets and I am fearful that some
kid is really going to get injured. Is it possible to put speed bumps on the street?

Gatons,
I'm not sure how to respond to WordPress, so I copied your regular e-mail as well.

I'll have to take a look at the dues notice as I guess I didn't read it very closely! But, as far as paying for snow removal, I can assure you we have NOT paid for this in the past or at any time up to this present day! It is something, however, that the board has discussed for the current winter as well as future winters even though there has not been any plan put in place as of yet.

Because of last winter and the apparent difficulty that the city had getting to the streets within Locust Curve, we are considering hiring a snow removal service for more extreme snow events. We have requested some quotes from some providers, including our current landscape service contractor, Brickman. If and when this is decided, information will be shared with homeowners.

Again, We have NOT paid any outside contractor for snow removal to this point. I apologize for any confusion on this matter.

We got ours and I noticed in the breakdown of fees, we are being charged for snow removal. I have never witnessed anyone other than the city removing snow from our streets. What does this fee include?

Beth, I agree

The whole concept makes no sense from the worthless pond fountain, to the dead trees. Lets just spend the money.
