YMCA Discussion Items
Pros & Cons – General Discussion
- YMCA offers more programs and are very diverse in their offerings, as compared to what the City of Delaware can provide. The Parks & Rec Department typically ends up at the bottom of the funding priority list after all of the city’s other departments are covered. The YMCA and provide the planning & programs that the city cannot.
- Contract will have clauses to establish satisfaction points to allow both the YMCA and the City of Delaware to determine whether they wish to continue the relationship. Annual review process? Quarterly review?
